Miskimen's Wrath Part Deux

Yesterday had one hell of a workout planned and I hope, after it was all said and done, that you enjoyed it. There are a couple key points that I want to pass on to everyone that either came up in class or I have in my head about programming workouts of this level.

  1. The WOD itself was written as an individual workout with competitor level movements.
  2. Always Scale. Always Modify. Never Assume.
  3. Do what you can before modifying - if you see a hard movement and immediately go "NO No no...." take a step back and ponder if you can do 1 or 2 reps at that harder movement. If that is the case then you should be doing those 1 or 2 reps before modifying. Ask your coach if this is right as well. Remember if all you do is SU then you will never get a DU
  4. Given enough time you can accomplish Anything - take a deep breathe you will be fine.
